Convert Legacy Bids

Overview

The Converter tool upgrades legacy .bid files to the .bidx format used by the Bid Manager Viewer/Editor. For the full reference, see Converter in the Bid Manager reference tab.

What It Is

The Converter takes legacy .bid files produced by iYBidWESM or iBidAgg and converts them to the .bidx format readable by the Bid Manager Viewer/Editor. You can convert a single file or an entire folder, and the output path is configurable. This allows a smooth transition of existing bid data to the current iEnergy Suite format.

When to Use It

Use Convert Legacy Bids when migrating legacy .bid files — convert them to .bidx so the current Viewer/Editor can open them. Run the Converter before attempting to open any legacy bid file in the Bid Manager tab.
